Chris Bray

Account Manager
& Senior Director

Chris joined up with his partner around 35 years ago and together they set up Logo Design and Marketing. Chris is the big brains behind the bigger picture and the company was built on his talent for seeing through the trees to the wood beyond.

Gilly Hancox

Account Manager
& Senior Director

Gilly joined up with her partner around 35 years ago and together they set up Logo Design. Gilly is the brains behind the day to day operation, she also writes copy, checks your invoices before they get sent to you, is part of the account management team and keeps the dogs in order.

Sarah Doney

Account Manager

Sarah joined the company as a junior account manager a good many years ago when she was still footloose and fancy free. She's now married with a four year old and manages a wide range of accounts, with a special interest in medical and public sector work. She's known in Logo as our design guru and demands ruthlessly high standards from the design and development team and thrives on the challenges posed by some of our most demanding clients.

Carol Cowe

Account Manager/Office Manager

Carol wasn't actually looking for a new job... she only saw our ad by chance. Since she joined us nearly five years ago she has taken over the running of our offices and HR department in addition to managing her own accounts, studying for her qualifications as a Company Secretary and keeping us all organised. Carol is totally unflappable, infinitely patient, quietly brings order to chaos and helps us meet our clients' almost impossible deadlines.

Jay Jones

Account Manager

Jay's previous life has included Saatchi & Saatchi. He has been with Logo for nearly ten years providing clients with invaluable marketing input to ensure that the designs we produce fulfill their strategic objectives and have visual integrity. He also writes stunningly good copy, press releases, strap lines and advertisements and can help you plan your whole marketing campaign.

Kerryann James

Admin Assistant

She started as a junior with no office experience and now practically runs the show (under the careful guidance of Carol). If you have a query with an invoice, want to know if something was sent or when it will arrive, what time someone will be in or out, Kerryann will probably know the answer off the top of her head, and she'll certainly know if you are a slow payer!

Tim Hanbury

Account Manager

Tim and his company, which he had created in 1999, joined Logo about a year and half ago. Tim's special flair is in the field of Search Engine Optimisation. He regularly spends time in London where he has a loyal band of clients and welcomes the opportunity to meet new ones.

Kelvin Lacy

Web Development Manager

Kelvin arrived like a knight in shining armour when we needed someone very quickly who had solid experience in dealing with both very large organisations and seriously complex programming and software development challenges. Kelvin often has the unenviable task of sorting out mysterious technical problems, but his main focus is on building and managing the ever growing development team - ensuring work is delivered to the high standards we demand, and on time.

Tom Bruty

Web Developer

When Tom arrived at Logo Design he was a department of one, gallantly holding the fort and providing all the code we needed. In three short years the web development team now stands at seven and counting. Besides being unflappably charming, Tom's skills lie in complex coding and programming, and with the rest of the web team, developing software for one of the world's largest business software companies.

Kseniya Volkova

Web Developer

Kseniya joined Logo in September 2009 after graduating from the University of Plymouth's Bsc(Hons) Digital Art & Technology degree course with First Class Honours. Her strengths are in HTML, CSS, jQuery, she's a fast learner, loves a challenge and enjoys learning new programming languages including developing i-phone apps. She also loves working with our design team and making the sites we design for our clients dynamic.

Nicholas Swift

Web Developer

Nick has a MSc from the University of Plymouth in Digital Art & Technology and joined us as a freelancer under a short term contract in December 2009 when things got hectic here. We eventually persuaded him to join us full time, together with Rook, whose interests lie in lunchtime walkies and welcoming visitors, rather than web development. Nick has a broad range of skills and has tackled immensely complex work for one of the world's leading banks.

Lee Langley

Web Developer

A comparative new arrival, Lee joined the programming team just a few months ago. He was born in Adelaide, grew up in Brighton and now finds himself in Devon. He specialises in object orientated code, has a 5 year old daughter and is a vegan, which makes our barbeque lunches less exciting for him than the meat eaters amongst us.

Sebastian Jordon

Web Developer

Only with us for a short while longer, Seb is off to Australia looking for fame and fortune on the cricket field. In his spare time at work he specialises in e-commerce and all the complexity of shopping carts and on-line payments and keeps the sites of some national brand-names up to date and functioning properly.

Lawrence Roberts

Studio Manager,
Senior Designer & Director

Law first walked through the door of Logo for his interview 24 years ago... dogged, loyal, determined, approachable, dependable, experienced, practical. He loves his work, loves designing logos, loves our clients, and quite obviously, loves Logo! That's in spite of being in the unenviable position of having to juggle all the incoming work and deadlines and sort out who's doing what and when.

Kevin Sylvester

Senior Designer

Kev started at Logo almost 4 years ago and his work goes from strength to strength, and so does he. Kev is your man if you need a stunning illustration at breakneck speed but his skills and flair go right across the board: branding, website design, print design and he's pretty good behind the camera too.

Olli Nute

Senior Designer

Joined the team five years ago fresh out of University with a first class honours degree and first class creative talent. He now works on some of our most complicated and prestigious projects, designing and taking new brands across print and digital media with stunning results.

Ronald Prout

Senior Designer

Ron has been with Logo for such a long time we have given up counting. His main strengths lie in laying up vast tracts of type and images and understanding and applying his design skills to complicated technical work and unintelligible floor plans and site plans. Ron is also responsible for keeping our enormous library of completed work under control so that jobs we worked on years ago can be resurrected with minimum fuss.

Canine Resources

Harry, Barley and Rook run the Canine Resources department. Their main tasks include ensuring that the human contingent take plenty of screen-free time during which they are encouraged to throw balls and sticks about, that they also take proper lunch breaks with a health promoting walk down the private drive; and that the food that they bring in meets the regulation Canine taste standards. They are also on the welcoming visitors committee.

Matt van der Walt

Senior Designer

Matt joined us early last November. He came all the way from South Africa where he worked for some of Durban's hottest agencies and will be bringing with him his flair for highly creative and intelligent corporate identity design, packaging and print design. Welcome to the team Matt!

Damian Semonin

Website Coordinator

Damian brings in years of previous experience with web development teams prototyping and developing software applications and websites for the corporate and educational sectors. With a Prince2 project management and operational management background Damian's always keen to assess and develop ways of helping businesses get more from their web presence and IT tools.

Darrell Goss

Web Developer

A 2011 addition to the website team, Darrell trained in graphic design for print and then progressed (?) to websites including the more technical aspects of site design and structure. Darrell has vast experience of ecommerce and has special expertise with Magento ecommerce software and the Expression Engine content management system. Added to this he knows a thing or two about SEO (search engine optimisation) and Adwords and how you get people to look at your site, move around it and leave with their wallets a bit lighter!

Scott Gibling

Web Developer

The new boy! Scott has graduated from the University of Plymouth in summer 2011 with a BSc (Hons) in Computing. He has worked in IT in a primary school, catering in a hospital, as a shop assistant. He loves water sports and was a sea scout and a member of Torbay lifesaving club. We're doing our best to drown him in tempestuous oceans of code.

Dan Walker

Web Developer

Dan joined us this year from Text Nation and so he knows a thing or two about phones and mobile sites and apps and things. He also keeps our network infrastructure (almost) under control and manages to allow everyone a small share of the limited broadband resources that are left after Kerryann's intensive 24/7 social networking activities. Like most of the web team, Dan has appalling dress sense.

Andrew Hosgood

Web Developer

On his CV he describes himself as a 'highly professional programmer, web developer and multi media designer' and 'tenacious in solving problems' then, like the rest of the techies, he starts on lists of acronyms including 'PHP Procedural and modest OO' [sic]. And he's got a BSc (hons) in Digital Arts and Technology and (more from his CV) won a Maths Challenge Gold Award and 'Geek of the Year 2004-05' [sic] and has junior black belt in Judo and Aikido. And, because he is also a jolly good egg, now he works for us!
